48th Trial Indoor Barcelona
Location:
Palau Sant Jordi - Montjuïc

Indoor trial originated in 1978 thanks to SOLO MOTO, a magazine dedicated to the world of motorbikes based in Barcelona. With the aim of connecting Spanish fans with the sport of motorcycling and its great exponents, those responsible for the publication came up with the idea of holding a trial competition in an enclosed area, where various artificial areas designed specifically for this modality would be installed.
Until then, trial was only available at open-air events. The new proposal offers fans the chance to watch, from the comfort of their seats, the skills of the best riders in the world on their motorbikes.
Since its first edition, the Barcelona Solo Moto Indoor Trial has established itself as a major event for fans, who crave opportunities to witness and appreciate the best experts. The Palacio de Deportes de Barcelona quickly became insufficient, although tickets were not sold out, as they were not offered for sale. To enter the venue, it was only necessary to bring a copy of SOLO MOTO magazine.
The ‘full houses’ at the Palau d'Esports have become a constant year after year. With the rise of the trial enthusiasts, prominent figures such as Toni Gorgot, Andreu Codina and Jordi Tarrés have emerged and achieved great popularity.
